GA Residential Wiring Part 1 (2023 NEC)

This online course is based on the 2023 NEC and provides users a room-by-room walkthrough of a modern dwelling unit from the electrician’s perspective. Using the 2023 NEC as their guide, licensees will be presented the general requirements for successfully assembling a dwelling unit electrical service, as well as minimum branch circuit requirements, receptacle outlet requirements, GFCI and AFCI protection requirements, lighting requirements, and special equipment and systems requirements for the garage, laundry area, dining room, kitchen, and great room.

This online course is based on the 2023 NEC and provides users a room-by-room walkthrough of a modern dwelling unit from the electrician’s perspective. Using the 2023 NEC as their guide, licensees will be presented the general requirements for minimum branch circuit requirements, receptacle outlet requirements, GFCI and AFCI protection requirements, lighting requirements, and special equipment and systems requirements for the foyer, hallway, bedrooms, bathrooms, basements, crawl space, exterior requirements, and additional special installations.
Continuing Education Requirements to Renew a Georgia Electrical License
- In the state of Georgia, electrical contractors are required to complete 8 hours of continuing education every two years (4 hours every year).
- Electricians licensed less than two years, but more than one year, are required to complete 4 hours of Georgia electrician continuing education prior to their initial renewal.
