This 14 hour course of continuing education content is intended for alarm and electrical contractors in the State of Florida.

Half of the course content will address the 2014 changes to the National Electric Code (NEC). This segment will go section by section explaining what was changed in the revision.

The course content will examine the OSHA safety regulations that apply to construction projects and workers’ compensation protections.

This course will talk about the contracts contractors will utilize in the course of their business.

The course will cover some of Florida’s building codes. Specifically, this segment will look at changes made to the codes in 2014.

The content of the course will explore state regulations that govern liens, contractors, and wind mitigation.

Finally, the course discusses false alarms and techniques and advice for preventing false alarms.

Mike's relevant construction experience includes framing, concrete construction, foundations, and roofing.
