AYPO offers this CE course for Idaho plumbers to satisfy their renewal requirements in one easy package.
In this course, we’ll cover all of the required topics, including the most important updates to the UPC for 2015. While we won’t be able to cover every change, we will look at the most significant ones.
We’ll start the course with a review of OSHA safety standards for plumbers and contractors. This includes an overview of some of the most common dangers you’ll encounter on a job site, and safety precautions to implement.
After that, we’ll talk about rainwater harvesting. This includes a discussion of the components in a rainwater catchment system, as well as the plumbing codes that apply to such a system.
The rest of the course will focus on the significant changes to the UPC. We’ll move through this review chapter by chapter, looking at the previous version of the code, the new changes, and what they mean when applied. The course will conclude with a 160-question exam, as required by the state.
