The package starts with the 2021 Oregon Rule & Law course. This class meets the full requirement for 4 hours of Rule and Law updates to the 2021 Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC). Oregon added a provision in April 2013 that requires all licensed electricians to take four hours of rules and laws updated whenever a new edition of the OESC is adopted.

The next section will cover 8 hours of Code Change credit. This course has been approved by the State of Oregon and will cover the following subjects: 2020 NEC Review Chapters 1-3, General, Wiring and Protection, and Wiring Methods and Materials. These three Chapters form the backbone of the NEC and are an invaluable guide to all other codes and Product Standards in the field.

The third section of the package will count for 4 hours of Code Related. This 4 hour course has been approved by the State of Oregon and will cover every significant change to one of the most useful Chapters in the 2020 NEC Chapter 4 on Equipment for General Use followed by a look at a few selected changes from Chapter 6, Specialized Equipment.

The fourth section of the package  will count for 4 hours of Code Related. This course will cover every significant change to what most people consider the most challenging Chapters in the 2020 NEC Chapter 5 on Specialized Occupancies, followed by a look at a few selected changes from Chapter 6, Specialized Equipment.

The fifth section of the package will count for 2 hours of Code Change. This course covers every significant change made in the 2020 NEC to the first 9 Articles of Chapter 7, Special Conditions, through Article 712, covering topics as varied as Emergency Systems and Optional Standby Systems, Energy Storage Systems, Critical Operations Power Systems (COPS), and DC Microgrids.

The final section of the package will count for 2 hours of Code Change and covers the sweeping organizational changes and upgrades to Chapter 8, Communication Systems. The class concludes with a single change to the Tables in Chapter 9.
