Discover some of the most important updates to the 2026 National Electrical Code (NEC) and how they impact your role as a local electrician.

The 8-hour online training program covers changes across Chapters 4 through 9 of the NEC, including those related to equipment, appliances, motors, and emerging technologies.

You’ll also learn about updated guidelines impacting:

  • HVAC systems, generators, stationary batteries, and conductor ampacity standards
  • Hazard prevention methods, bonding practices, and occupancy classifications in hazardous locations
  • EV power transfer systems, ESVSE installations, disconnects, and commercial garage applications
  • Recreational vehicles, marinas, floating structures, swimming pools, and health care facilities
  • Emergency systems, standby power, fire-protection systems, and temporary power sources
  • Communications wiring, antenna safety practices, broadband cable entry methods, and limited-energy cable routing
  • State licensing oversight, inspection authority, and compliance with adopted wiring rules and administrative regulations

Upon completion, you’ll be ready to apply current code standards in both residential and commercial settings.
