Arkansas Electrical Continuing Education


Our courses are approved by the state of Arkansas to satisfy your electrician continuing education requirements.

Complete the continuing education to renew your AR electricians license today. All of our courses can be completed At Your Pace Online to help you meet the state's requirements to maintain your license. Once you finish your class you will have an official certificate of completion to save for your records, and we will report your course completion to the state for you.

CE Requirements to Renew an AR Electrical License


  • In the state of Arkansas, all Master and Journeyman Electricians must obtain 8 hours of CE every Code cycle before license renewal.
  • All hours must cover the current National Electrical Code (NEC).

Arkansas 2014 NEC Changes

This is a Continuing Education Course covering the changes made to Articles 90-490 of the 2014 NEC. Once you complete your course we will report the completion of your course to Arkansas.


Arkansas 8 Hour 2017 NEC Review Chapters 4 & 6

8 Hour Course $ 65.00

This course is designed to help you meet your continuing education requirements by covering changes made to Chapters 4 & 6 of the 2017 NEC. The course has been approved by the State of Arkansas and will be reviewing code for the following subjects:

Arkansas Electrician Continuing Education Articles 400-490: Equipment for General Use (4 Hr)

4 Hour Course $ 32.00

This four hour is the fourth part of an eight part continuing education series on the 2014 National Electrical Code revisions. This electrician continuing education course will analyze changes to Chapter 4 of the 2014 NEC. This following are included as a part of this course:

  • A discussion of the changes to Articles 400-490

  • High definition videos

  • Interactive review quizzes

  • A detailed comparisons between the 2011 and 2014 NEC

Arkansas Electrician Continuing Education Articles 600-695: Special Equipment (3 Hr)

3 Hour Course $ 24.00

This 3 hour course will analyze changes to Chapter 6 of the 2014 NEC, which includes Articles 600-695. This is the sixth part of an eight part series on the 2014 National Electrical Code changes.

A student who completes this course will be awarded a certificate of completion.

Arkansas Electrician Continuing Education Articles 200-285: Wiring and Protection (3 Hr)

3 Hour Course $ 24.00

This is the second part of an eight part series on the 2014 National Electrical Code changes. This continuing education course for electricians will talk about revisions to Chapter 2 of the 2014 NEC. This course will address the changes made to the articles concerned with wiring and protection.

Completion of this course will grant a student a Certificate of Completion.

2 Hour Course $ 16.00

This 2 hour course is the fifth course of an eight part series on the 2014 National Electrical Code changes. This continuing education course for electricians will examine the 2014 revisions to Chapter 5 of the NEC. This course will cover revisions to Articles that focus on Special Occupancies.

A certificate of completions will be given out to all students who complete the course.

2 Hour Course $ 16.00

This is the third part of an eight part series on the 2014 National Electrical Code changes. This course analyzing the 2014 changes made to Chapter 3 of the 2014 NEC will provide continuing education training to electricians in Arkansas. The revisions discussed in this course are found in the chapter that deals with wiring methods and materials.
