Our courses are approved by the Washington Department of Labor & Industries to satisfy your Washington electrician continuing education requirements.

All of our courses can be completed At Your Pace Online to help you meet the state's requirements and maintain your license. Once you finish your class you will have an official certificate of completion to save for your records, and we will report your course completion to the state for you.
Washington 24 Hour Complete 2020 NEC Package
This course provides all 24 hours of CE required to renew your license. This class covers significant changes to the 2020 NEC code, as well as covering Washington amendments and Washington State Rules & Laws.
Washington 12 Hour Changes to NEC-2020 Chapters 2, 5, 7, 8 & 9
This course provides 12 hours of approved continuing education on the changes made during the 2017-2020 code review cycle to Chapters 2, 5, 7, 8 and 9 of the 2020 National Electrical Code (NEC), presenting a clear summary, revised code language, and discussion of the reason for and impact of the changes.
Washington 8 Hour Changes to the 2020 NEC Chapters 1, 3, & 4
This course provides 8 hours of approved continuing education on the changes made during the 2017-2020 code review cycle to Chapters 1, 3, and 4 of the 2020 National Electrical Code (NEC), presenting a clear summary, revised code language, and discussion of the reason for and impact of the changes.
Washington 4 Hour 2020 NEC Rule and Law Course
This course provides 4 hours of approved continuing education on the Washington amendments and Washington State Rules & Laws related to the adoption of the 2020 National Electrical Code (NEC).
CE Requirements to Renew a WA Electrical License
Licensed Washington Electrical Administrators, Master Electricians and General Electricians are required to complete 24 total hours of continuing education every 3 years. The total hours must be in the following categories:
- 8 hours on currently adopted National Electrical Code changes.
- 4 hours on the currently adopted Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 19.28 and related Washington Administrative Codes (WAC).
- The remaining 12 hours of continuing education credit can be your choice of state approved courses.

If your qualifying credentials are invalidated (e.g., suspension or revocation by the issuing entity) for any reason, approval will be revoked.
When your approval expires, you must submit a new application to renew your instructor status. It is your responsibility to be aware of the expiration date; the department does not send reminder notices.
