This comprehensive four-hour course outlines the structure and functionality of residential water heaters. It also provides plumbers in Colorado with valuable resources regarding federal changes to residential energy standards that will require all water heaters to switch to heat pump technology by 2029.

This course does not require participants to take a final exam. Instead, students will be prompted to complete a review question at the end of each section with the opportunity to re-examine the relevant course material. These are followed by section quizzes that test students’ comprehension of the topics covered.
