Louisiana 6 Hour: Marketing, Bidding, and Keeping Your Company Safe

This course will provide contractors in Louisiana with six hours of continuing education training. This class primarily discusses topics related to managing a contracting business.

Digital Marketing (3 Hours)

This segment of the course will teach students about how digital marketing differs from traditional marketing. This segment will provide training on the benefits and importance of digital marketing. And this segment will examine the different types of digital marketing tools.

Estimating and Job Costing (1.5 Hours)

This segment will discuss the importance of accurate estimates to the success of all contractors. Additionally, this segment will look at strategies to help with accurate estimates and organizational strategies for evaluating costs for a contract.

Liability and Risk Management (1.5 Hours)

In this segment, the course will train students to identify liabilities. This segment will explore the topic of risk and will talk about different risk management techniques. Finally, this segment will examine insurance and how it applies to contractors.
