What is contained in this course is six hours of continuing education content on safety, professional behavior, and business management.
Construction Safety (3 Hours)
This segment begins with a look at OSHA regulations that are commonly overlooked in construction. Then, this segment students will be taught to incorporate safer working practices into their daily duties. Additionally, this segment will discuss worker’s compensation.
Business Management (3 Hours)
The other segment of the class begins by talking about how to identify common ways a customer will see a contractor as unprofessional. From there, this segment will talk about understanding, reading, and writing contracts. Last, the segment will explore marketing techniques that have proven themselves in the contracting field.
