Designed for local Class A and B Limited Energy Technicians (LEAs and LEBs), this 8-hour program explores major updates introduced in the 2026 National Electrical Code (NEC).

Participants will work through revisions affecting both standard installations and emerging technologies, including:

  • Revised definitions, code organization updates, and Article 110 equipment provisions
  • Branch-circuit, feeder, service, and EVSE load-calculation methods
  • Energy management systems, conductor identification, and signaling circuits
  • Expanded GFCI and SPGFCI protections, receptacle placement standards, and lighting outlet revisions
  • Service equipment, disconnecting means, overcurrent devices, and grounding methods
  • Wiring methods, raceways, conductor sizing tables, ampacity adjustments, and physical protection standards
  • Wiring devices, panelboards, industrial control panels, motors, HVAC equipment, generators, and stationary batteries
  • Hazardous locations, cannabis oil systems, marinas, recreational vehicles, health care occupancies, and emergency systems
  • Fire pumps, communications systems, elevators, and electric vehicle power transfer systems

Technicians will gain the knowledge needed to apply current NEC standards safely and effectively across a wide range of installations.
