AYPO’s  2-hour Safety Training course is designed for plumbers to review safety techniques and practices to implement. It will also meet 2 hours of CE requirements in Washington.

We’ll begin with a discussion of OSHA, and review their purpose to promote safe working conditions through standards and education. Maintaining a safe workplace requires everyone’s participation, so we’ll also review some basic safety rules that plumbers (and others) can implement in their work. We’ll take a few minutes to discuss how to keep a worksite safe for consumers, when working in public or populated areas.

The course will include education on various hazards and environmental risks that may be encountered at a job site, including dangerous flammable materials, as well as physical hazards.
