Contractors who hold Certificates of Competency in Miami-Dade County are required to complete 16 hours of continuing education every 2 years (only 50% may be completed through online courses). The requirements includes one hour of Miami-Dade Ordinance Chapter 10 and one hour of F.S. 713 Construction Lien Law. This course (course ID D115-002) has been approved by the Miami-Dade CTQB to meet the CE requirements and provides eight hours of training.

The course talks about Chapter 10 of the Code of Miami-Dade County. This segment also discusses the process for bidding on public projects.
