This 14-hour course offers Florida plumbers a single course to meet all of the CE requirements they need for renewal, while reviewing some of the most important fundamental concepts of the industry.

We’ll start the course by looking at the most significant changes to Florida’s Building Code Residential (FBCR) before moving on to advanced business topics, such as using and filing liens, how the construction industry is regulated, and the problem of unlicensed work.

Next, we’ll talk about the regulations that apply to buildings with respect to wind mitigation laws and building codes. Worker’s compensation will also be addressed, and then we’ll move on to OSHA safety standards, dangers you’re likely to encounter, and how to implement safety standards to limit risk.

After that the course will focus on reviewing some of the essentials for masonry and drywall work. The final section of the course will cover the process of building an exterior shell of a structure correctly.
