This 4 hour course is designed to help you meet your continuing education requirements by covering changes made to Chapter 3: Wiring Methods and Materials & Chapter 7: Special Conditions of the 2017 NEC.
We’ll start the course with an overview of the 2017 NEC, including Article 90, and a primer on how the NEC is organized.
Next we’ll look at wiring methods and materials, including sections on protecting wiring from physical damage, conductors, armored cables, uses not permitted on cables, and the permitted uses of electrical metallic tubing, among others.
For chapter 7 we’ll go over special conditions, including emergency systems, standby systems, and fire alarm systems, for example.
This course concludes with an 80 question final exam.
