This course is designed for all licensed plumbers in Minnesota and fulfills four of the eight hours of continuing education (CE) on the code required for this license renewal cycle. A total sixteen hours of CE must be completed to renew a plumbing license.
After a brief look at current licensing rules in the state, the unusually high number of amendments to the model codes drawn from the 2012 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) are presented in detail, with discussion of how the amendments bring forward elements of the 2012 home-grown Minnesota Plumbing Code (MPC) and how the amendments affect plumbers.
