CE Requirements to Renew a New York Electrical License

Suffolk County

Suffolk County Consumer Affairs requires that electrical licensees take continuing education classes every two years.

Master Electricians must take 8 hours of CE.
Restricted Electricians must take 4 hours of CE.

Electricians are required to complete 6 hours of CE every year.

State of New York Electrical License Renewal Deadline

Suffolk County

Licensed electricians must renew their license by the first day of the month of issuance, every two years.

City of Troy
