A 4 Hour class on Changes to the 2017 Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code, this class provides a wide range of revisions that were made to 2017 OPSC, from the 2014 version. There will be an ongoing discussion as to the reasons for the changes and revisions that have been made.
The class begins with a short introduction and then dives into the administrative section followed by the definitions section. Then it moves into the General Regulations and goes from there into the individual Chapters, including but not limited to Plumbing Fixtures, Water Supply and Distribution, Traps and Interceptors, and Storm Drainage.
During the class, the students’ attention will be held through the use of videos, as well as testing their knowledge with in-text quiz questions.

Instructor Bio
Chris D'Amato is the instructor and industry expert for Plumbing Trade Courses. With over 25 years experience, he has held a Journeyman Plumbing license since 2001 performing all aspects of plumbing in new construction, light commercial, remodels and service. Chris manages his own multifaceted plumbing shop coordinating a wide range of services from Property Management accounts to plumbing whole subdivisions and providing services to large living facilities for the the State of Oregon. In his tenure at AYPO he has helped thousands of plumbing licensees keep up with their continuing education requirements.
