This 4-hour course is designed specifically for plumbers licensed in Utah, and will meet part of the continuing education requirements for renewal. In the course, we’ll cover two main areas: rainwater harvesting and plumber safety.

The rainwater harvesting section of the course will focus on the need for alternate sources of water, as well as effective systems to recycle and reuse water. We’ll talk about the primary components of a rainwater catchment system, and the most ideal surfaces and locations for collection of rainwater.

After that, we’ll discuss plumber safety. This includes a discussion of the hazards and dangers that you may encounter in the course of your work. We’ll talk about hazardous substances, physical hazards, and safety measures to protect yourself, others on a job site, and bystanders.
