Vermont Electrical Continuing Education Requirements

  • All Master & Journeyman electricians are required to complete 15 Hours of continuing education every 3 years.
  • Specialty electricians must complete 8 hours of continuing education every 3 years.
  • All required continuing education hours may cover Code changes.
  • Electricians are also required to complete the Vermont Energy Goal Education Module which can be done online through the Vermont Division of Fire Safety website.

State of Vermont Electrical License Renewal Deadline

  • Electricians are required to renew their licenses by the last day of the issuance month, every three years.
