The content of this six-hour course is designed for Kentucky HVAC tradesmen. This course provides four hours on professional liability, risk, and the management of risk.
This course discusses risk management planning. This includes an examination of the steps in the risk management process. This course looks at how risk can be shared through insurance coverage. The course will also explore several standard endorsements that can be added to an insurance policy.
The course also provides a two-hour brisk, comprehensive look at safety concerns that apply particularly to HVAC. Includes guidelines for electrical safety, chemical safety, fuel gas safety, how to minimize strains, falls, eye injury, and other commonplace accidents for HVAC technicians.
The safety material emphasizes what risks to look for and offers common-sense ways to work more safely. A worthwhile review for those who work alone, those who supervise others, and any who work on HVAC in the state of Kentucky.
The course contains several short quizzes. These quizzes are intended to further each student's understanding and retention of the course content.
