Michigan Electrician Continuing Education

MI Electrician CE Requirements

In the state of Michigan, Master, Journey, and Fire Alarm Technician electricians are required to obtain fifteen (15) hours of continuing education covering Code Updates. Sign Specialists require eight (8) hours. The Code Updates must be on the NEC version that is currently adopted by the state, which is the 2014 NEC. For electricians renewing in 2016, all CE hours must be completed by December 31.
