NM 2018 IMC Update Part 1

NM HVAC System Replacements

This course will review and highlight essential HVAC installation challenges with replacement systems. Included in the review will be specific examples of challenges related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning and exhaust systems, and best practices to overcome those challenges. This course will primarily concentrate on residential systems.

CE Requirements to Renew a NM HVAC License

  • Mechanical Journeymen in New Mexico must complete 16 hours of CE.
  • 8 of the 16 hours must be on Code.
  • The remaining 8 hours can be on industry-related topics.

Courses are approved by the New Mexico Construction Industries Mechanical Board.

 

State of New Mexico HVAC License Renewal Deadlines 

  • The renewal deadline is on the last day of the license issue month, every three years.
Agency Requirements for licensure
