This 8-hour course includes everything you need to satisfy your CE requirements as a Texas HVAC technician. In the course, we’ll start by covering the updates to the IMC between 2009 and 2012. We’ll spend most of our time in Chapters 4-7, where the most extensive changes were made. Here, we’ll address various exhaust systems, as well as techniques for pressure equalization. It also covers grease duct enclosures, cleanouts, and exhaust systems and hoods such as those in commercial kitchens. We’ll also discuss air balance for commercial kitchen ventilation, hazardous exhaust duct penetrations, and energy recovery systems.

After that, we’ll spend some time discussing professionalism, an important and underrated aspect of working in the construction industry. We’ll talk about standards for professionalism, as well as how to improve your own practices and step up your game.
