FL Electrician CE Requirements

In the state of Florida, electrical contractors are required to obtain fourteen (14) hours of continuing education every two years. CE hours must be earned in several different categories. Our courses meet DBPR requirements:

  • Seven (7) hours must be technical/Code-related.
  • One (1) hour must cover workers' compensation.
  • One (1) hour must cover workplace safety.
  • One (1) hour must cover business practices.
  • One (1) hour must cover Florida Rules and Law
  • One (1) hour must cover Florida Building Codes Advanced module.
  • Two (2) hours are considered "general" and can cover any of the topics listed above.

Our courses are DBPR approved by the state to satisfy your Florida electrician continuing education requirements.
